Overview

The antenna transceiver unit contains the transmitter, the receiver and the drive motor for the array, and it is the part of a river radar that suffers most: bridge contact, vibration, water ingress and simple wear. Replacing the scanner is usually the fastest way to restore a picture that has gone soft or patchy, and it is a great deal cheaper than a complete radar installation. These units are available for the JFS-364, the JFS-364C and the Precision Navigator II, with or without the array.
