A Racal Decca RR-2175 / RR-2195 scanner unit including the radar array, tested and supplied with twelve months of warranty.
Overview
The scanner unit is the part of the radar that sits outside: transmitter, receiver, motor and the rotating array, all in one weatherproof housing. It is also the part that takes the punishment — a bridge strike, a lightning hit, or simply years of rain and vibration — and when the picture deteriorates the cause is usually up there rather than in the wheelhouse. This unit fits the Racal Decca RR-2175 and RR-2195 installations and is supplied complete with the array; the array and the scanner can also be supplied separately.
