Overview

The Quattro is built for a vessel that lies at a berth as well as runs its own generator. It has two AC inputs and changes over between shore power and generator by itself; whatever is not used on board goes into the batteries. PowerAssist works the other way round: when the load asks more than a limited shore connection can give, the batteries make up the difference, so a small quay connection does not trip. The inverter puts out a pure sine wave, which matters for the kind of equipment that stands in a wheelhouse. Units can be placed in parallel or in a three-phase set-up, and the charge curve, input current limit and transfer settings are all programmable over VE.Bus.
