Overview

Radio Holland’s river radars, recognisable by the blue scanner bar, have been standard equipment in inland shipping for decades. The RHRS-2005RC is the version with the picture tube, built around the Furuno platform that Radio Holland uses for its inland sets, and it remains an approved installation for radar navigation. For an owner who needs a certified radar and does not want to spend what a new set costs, this is the practical middle ground: known technology, parts on the shelf and a service network that still knows it.

The RHRS-2002, RHRS-2005, RHRS-2014 and RHRS-2024 form one continuous range. The RHD-1900 marine display is type approved for use with the later sets, which allows a wheelhouse to be modernised in stages.
