The JRC JLR-7700MK2 is a DGPS navigator with a 5″ monochrome display, tested and working.
Overview
The JLR-7700MK2 consists of a 12-channel parallel DGPS receiver and a display unit that presents position, course, speed, waypoints and the usual navigation calculations. Twelve parallel channels means all visible satellites are tracked simultaneously, which keeps the position stable when the antenna is temporarily shaded by a mast or a bridge. Position accuracy is in the order of 15 m on GPS and 5 m with a differential correction. Up to 499 waypoints can be stored with eight-character names, and built-in alarms cover waypoint arrival, cross track error, anchor drift and boundary crossing. NMEA input and output connect the navigator to radar, autopilot, AIS and plotter, and the unit runs on 10-40 VDC.
