Overview
The AlphaScreen is the 19″ bridge monitor Alphatron supplies with its radar and navigation equipment, built for continuous use in a wheelhouse. It accepts both VGA and DVI input, which means it connects equally well to an older radar processor with an analogue output and to a modern PC-based system, and the backlight can be dimmed far enough down for night watch. The housing suits console mounting as well as a bracket, and the panel size matches the picture diameter that river and sea radar installations are built around.
